Briton-to-Aussie becomes world's first genderless person (maybe)

A Briton, who has emigrated to Australia, has filed to become the world’s first legally genderless person. The individual is Norrie May-Welby, 46, who was born as a male and had a change to female in 1990 at 28, but then decided she wanted no gender.

The March 2010 story is in the Telegraph, here.

Then, later in March 2010, media reported that Australia (New South Wales) recognized the wish, and then rescinded it, in this story.

I guess the inter-galactic character "Pie 'o' Pah" in Clive Barker's "Imajica" is hemaphrodicitc, not genderless.
